Impressed by the vastness and nature of Canada, Florian’s desire to find a place where he could live with his family close to nature and with enough space grew after his year abroad. His parents and brother Moritz also thought this was a great idea, so the family started looking for a suitable property with enough space for the idea of multi-generational living. A few years ago, they finally found what they were looking for near Hamburg. An old farmstead with a main house and several outbuildings would offer enough space for everyone. The parents were the first to move into the main building. The attraction of the spacious farm was so great that a short time later the brother and Florian and his pregnant wife Jenna also planned to move to Dierstorf. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

When Florian and his wife visited the farm for the first time in 2013, they were immediately blown away by the former stable building: the building had not had any animal inhabitants for a long time and was already showing its age in many places. Nevertheless, Florian and Jenna could clearly see their dream home. A central design element is the old capped ceiling, which shines in new splendour and is often found in old stable buildings. The industrial character is emphasised by additional visible steel beams. Large openings and glass walls connect the individual rooms and make the living space very spacious and modern. <\/p>\n

The renovation of the old stable building was planned with materials such as steel, oak, concrete and glass.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
