Care instructions outdoor furniture
Wind, rain and sun will leave their mark on the natural surfaces of your outdoor furniture. To ensure that you can enjoy your outdoor furniture for as long as possible, re-impregnate the oiled wood at regular intervals. This makes your furniture more robust and preserves the honey-coloured wood for longer. If you have opted for the unoiled version, the surface will acquire a silvery grey patina more quickly. Your advantage: you don’t have to do any additional maintenance and can simply let nature do its thing.
Surface
Recycled timber, oiled
If the surface starts to soak up liquids or the wood turns a silvery grey, it’s time for a quick, uncomplicated aftercare treatment.
How to maintain
Here we go: First clean the surface. Simply wipe off any loose dirt with a damp cloth and clear water. For more stubborn stains, rub gently with a damp scouring pad in the direction of the grain, using olive care soap only if necessary. Wipe with clean water and allow the surface to dry.
Now it’s time to oil. You will need a brush or cotton cloth to apply the oil evenly and thinly to the surface. After 10 – 20 minutes, wipe the entire surface with a lint-free cloth until a silky matt surface is achieved.
Take care: There is a risk of spontaneous combustion due to the content of self-drying oils. Soaked cotton cloths must be spread out in the open to dry or stored in a closed jar.

Surface
Oak and Douglas fir, oiled
Our recommendation: Maintain your garden furniture regularly so that the wood is better protected from the weather and the surface shines again.
